Designing the new logo of Markaz ‘Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak – (former Salafi Dawah Tooting)

Elevating the Legacy of Knowledge

A refined logo rooted in heritage and clarity—representing a center committed to reviving authentic Islamic knowledge in the heart of South London.

Project Overview

As the former Salafi Dawah Tooting rebranded to Markaz ‘Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak, the client sought a new identity that balanced tradition with professionalism. The logo needed to communicate strength, nobility, and a commitment to Qur’an and Sunnah upon the understanding of the Salaf.

What We Did

  • Crafted a bold Arabic logomark incorporating the letter ع in an elegant monogram
  • Designed a bilingual layout combining modern Latin font with Arabic typography
  • Employed a rich gold gradient for a prestigious and inviting presence
  • Built a visual system suitable for signage, publications, social media, and print

Outcome

  • Reintroduced the center with a recognizable and professional identity
  • Strengthened community engagement through clear and consistent branding
  • Supported the center’s growth as a trustworthy hub for Islamic knowledge in London
