Building a Digital Home for a Salafi Masjid in the UK

A dedicated masjid website designed to reflect the clarity, accessibility, and values of a Salafi community in Sheffield, grounded in the Qur’ān and Sunnah.

Project Summary

We had the honour of designing and launching the official website for Masjid Huda Sheffield, a masjid and Islamic centre known for its firm adherence to the methodology of the Salaf. The aim was to create a clean and mobile-friendly platform to support the masjid’s outreach efforts—making prayer times, events, classes, and announcements accessible to the local community with clarity and ease, bi’idhnillāh.

What We Delivered

• Developed a full WordPress website from scratch using Elementor
• Designed a clean, minimal interface reflecting Salafi values
• Integrated a real-time prayer timetable
• Included class and event listings with live update capability
• Ensured seamless usability across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices
• Created a simple admin backend for easy updates by the masjid team

Project Outcomes

• Increased community access to masjid resources and announcements
• Strengthened the masjid’s digital presence and reach
• Empowered staff to manage website content independently
